The things that matter the most and are the most impressive are not necessarily those that posses immense strength or might (as we usually think is the case), but those that have the greatest functionality and versatility – case in point the three auricular ossicles though being the smallest bones in the body, when functional, work together with such seamless and elegant consonance as to enable the sensing of stimuli that  deliver the blooming cornucopia of the sounds of life … The absence of these bones which combined are of about half the size of a dime, results in a world so silent as to be screamingly deafening….
